Welcome to my personal website! I am Francisco Benita, a Research Professor at the School of Engineering & Sciences at Tecnológico de Monterrey. In addition, I serve as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Engineering Systems and Design Pillar at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
Before my position at Tecnológico de Monterrey, I was a Lecturer at the SUTD, where I also spent five memorable years as a Research Fellow. I earned my Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
Interests
My research is multidisciplinary, bridging the fields of operations research, economics, statistics and urban planning. I apply operations research methodologies and statistical techniques to address challenges in urban systems, transportation, travel behavior, and decision support systems.
